Jay Schlinsog has more than twenty-five years experience in community and economic development, management, and downtown revitalization. As the facilitator and lead member of DPN’s Surviving Construction program, Jay provides insights, tips, tools and practical strategies to overcome the adverse impacts of construction. Jay shares lessons learned and best practices from his work with communities across the country, and first-hand experience highlighted by his work as chairman and project coordinator for the City of St. Charles (IL) Main Street and Bridge Reconstruction Task Force.

Ben Muldrow, a Partner at Arnett Muldrow & Associates, helps communities to develop their brand identity through an open process including public design sessions and collaborative small groups. He has designed new branding and marketing elements for projects in over 200 communities located throughout the United States. As a member of DPN’s Surviving Construction team, Ben helps communities, organizations and businesses develop branding, marketing and promotional tools and strategies to create awareness and excitement, and to focus positive attention on the district before, during and after the project.
